The 2020 China Medical equipment conference was held in Beijing on September 12, 2020. Xin Guobin, member of the Party group and vice minister of the Ministry of industry and information technology, and Yu Xuejun, member of the Party group and vice director of the health and Health Commission, attended and addressed the conference.

Xin Guobin stressed that the current new round of scientific and technological revolution and industrial change is booming, and the medical equipment industry is facing unprecedented opportunities and challenges. The Ministry of industry and Commerce will work with the health and Health Committee and other departments to thoroughly implement the spirit of general secretary Xi Jinping's important instructions, push forward the application of new products in accordance with the decisions and arrangements of the Party Central Committee and the State Council, further expand the first set of insurance policies, and guide medical institutions to give priority to the deployment of innovative medical equipment.

The conference released the green paper "development status and trend of China's medical equipment (2020)" and issued the Sixth Batch of excellent domestic medical equipment product catalog certificates, among which themultispectral fundus camera MSI C2000 was listed.

It is reported that the multispectral refractive tomography (MRT) based on multispectral fundus imaging technology has been applied in clinical practice and plays an important role in the prevention and control of juvenile myopia.
